Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Timberline Lodge was a memorable experience with breathtaking views and historical charm. The lodge itself is beautifully crafted with stunning architecture, and the dining was exceptional. However, the lack of air conditioning in the bunk room made it a bit warmer than I’d prefer, and while it was quiet and peaceful at night, the price for food was quite high, which is expected given the remote location.
I had a unique experience at the lodge, enjoying its historic charm and stunning views. The ambiance was lovely, especially with Heidi the St. Bernard making the stay more special. However, the room was quite small and the service at the pool was practically nonexistent. While the lodge has character, the limitations in modern amenities might not suit everyone’s taste.
My stay at Timberline Lodge was an incredible experience. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff catering to our needs, and the dining was top-notch, rivaling some of the best I've experienced. The only downside was the potential noise from certain rooms, but the overall ambiance made up for it. For adventure seekers, this is a fantastic destination, especially in the winter months with easy access to the slopes.
What a unique lodge! Nestled in the breathtaking surroundings, the architecture is a stunning throwback to the 1930s and truly a feast for the eyes. Although the rooms are on the smaller side and can get stuffy, the character and charm are undeniable. Service was fantastic and accommodating, making for a pleasant stay, despite the higher price tag during peak season.
The lodge offers a charming and comfortable stay, perfect for families, with a cozy vibe and beautiful craftsmanship. The dining options are decent, and the views of Mt. Hood are stunning. However, the parking situation is frustrating, with limited availability leading to anxious guests. The rooms can be oddly shaped and noisy, making for a mixed experience overall.
Staying at this historic lodge was a unique experience filled with beautiful architecture and stunning mountain views. The construction details are fascinating and really set the scene, making it a special place to relax. However, while the lodge has remarkable charm, the rooms could use a little updating for comfort, and I faced some service challenges during my visit.
My stay at Timberline Lodge was unforgettable, set in the stunning backdrop of Mount Hood. The rooms were cozy and impeccably clean, making the stay very enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience special, while the dining options offered delicious meals with beautiful views. The price reflected the quality, making it a great value for this unique lodge experience, though the room prices might feel a bit steep for some travelers.
Timberline Lodge truly feels like a magical retreat, blending rich history with a family-friendly atmosphere. The staff’s hospitality is unmatched, creating a warm environment where you feel right at home. Dining was superb with an impressive focus on quality ingredients, though a few amenities showed their age. Be prepared for the cozy room sizes, as they may feel a bit cramped for some guests but are beautifully clean and comfortable.
This hotel provides a once-in-a-lifetime experience with its breathtaking mountain location and historic charm. The room we stayed in had a cozy fireplace, though we did experience some noise from construction above. While the dining options were excellent, the service could be improved during peak times. Overall, it’s a unique place that offers incredible views and memorable moments, making it worth the price.
I had a memorable stay at Timberline Lodge, famous for its stunning views and unique charm. The beauty of the hotel and its surroundings, particularly the view of Mt. Hood, was breathtaking. However, I found the dining prices a bit steep, especially for breakfast. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy a historic hotel with a lot of character.
